Our mission
GadjetNest explains technology in clear language and helps readers make better choices. We publish original work that is accurate, practical, and easy to follow. Readers come first: every decision we make serves that goal.
Independence
Editorial choices are made by the GadjetNest team. Advertisers, partners, and affiliates do not control what we cover or what we conclude. Sponsored pieces are always labeled so you can tell the difference. When there is a potential conflict, we disclose it or reassign the work.
What we publish
- News and explainers that clarify what changed and why it matters.
- Reviews based on hands on use, with repeatable checks.
- How to guides and troubleshooting notes that you can follow step by step.
- Opinion pieces that are clearly marked as opinion.
Sourcing standards
We prefer primary sources: official documents, developer notes, release builds, and direct testing. When we cite public statements or data, we verify dates and versions. If a claim cannot be verified, we say so and avoid speculation.
Review methodology
Every review records the unit tested, software version, and test settings. We look at setup, build quality, display, performance, cameras or sensors where relevant, battery behavior, connectivity, and after sales support. We compare like with like and explain trade offs in plain words. If a major update changes the experience, we add an update note.
Testing ethics
We do not accept conditions that restrict what we can write. Loaned review units are disclosed and returned on request. Gifts that could influence judgment are declined. If a writer has a prior relationship with a brand, we disclose it or assign a different writer.
Corrections and updates
Accuracy is a promise. If you find an error, email corrections@gadjetnest.com with the article link and the line to fix. Minor edits such as grammar may be made silently. Substantive corrections that change meaning are marked with a dated editor’s note. When prices or specs move after publication, we add a dated update so readers see the latest context.
Use of AI tools
Writers may use assistive tools for research notes or drafting ideas, but every published sentence is reviewed and edited by a human editor. We do not publish unedited machine generated text. Facts, figures, and claims are verified by our team before publication.
Advertising and affiliates
Advertising keeps the site free to read. Ad placement does not affect our verdicts. If an article includes affiliate tracking that could lead to a commission, we say so in the article. This does not change the price you pay and does not influence our conclusions.
Photos, illustrations, and assets
Images are created by our team, supplied by brands under license, or used under terms that allow reuse with credit. When we edit an image for clarity, we avoid changes that mislead. Watermarks and attribution are preserved where required.
Diversity and accessibility
We write for all readers. We aim for short sentences, clear headings, and alt text on images where possible. If you use assistive technology and face a barrier, email hello@gadjetnest.com with the page link and the problem. We will try to fix it quickly.
Comment rules
Comments should add value. Do not post abusive, illegal, or promotional material. We may moderate or remove comments that break these rules. Repeated violations may lead to a block.
Data and privacy
We collect only what we need to run the site and respond to you. Readers in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland can control cookies through the consent banner and the Manage Consent link in the footer. See our Privacy Policy and GDPR Policy for details.
